In addition to requirements planning, the organizational structures of the professional fire department were to be examined, and existing civil protection structures evaluated.<br\/>The expert report was intended to provide concrete recommendations for action to ensure the long-term operational capability and strategic positioning of the fire department. <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" Bremen Fire Department and the Department of the Interior.<br\/>An interdisciplinary team of requirements planners, organizational consultants, and civil protection experts developed a comprehensive analysis of the hazard and risk situation, deployment frequencies, and organizational and structural conditions, based on current professional recommendations.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" Measures Taken <\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Implementation of a complete fire protection requirements plan in accordance with current professional recommendations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organizational review of the professional fire department with a focus on personnel structure, shift models, and future capacity requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis of civil protection structures and their integration with the fire department organization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of differentiated planning objectives to be adopted as a local ordinance in the future.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identification and prioritization of structural needs for action within the professional fire department and volunteer fire department.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recommendation for structural further development in the city center to improve the <br\/>distribution of fire stations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Planning of 50 additional positions for the professional fire department and stronger integration of the volunteer fire department into the operational structure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" requirements plan, which positions the Bremen Fire Department for the future in terms of organization, personnel, and infrastructure.<br\/>The key recommendations were presented at a press conference on April 22, 2025, and received broad media attention.<br\/>The City of Bremen now has a clearly defined, strategically sound concept to sustainably ensure the protection of its population and secure
