We are consultants, experts, mediators, cultural translators.
Needs planning is not a purely mathematical science. As important as purely rational action is, much depends on how successfully moderation between different interests – e.g., economic, qualitative, or technical – is achieved. We possess all the competencies required to successfully shape this process.
Moderation
We have understanding not only for technical problems, but also for the critically important interpersonal component. We therefore place the greatest value on mediation and moderation.
Presentation
We are experienced, attentive presenters. One of our strengths is reducing complexity so that all topics and decision requirements become understandable and comprehensible even for non-experts.
Cultural Translation
We function as “cultural translators” between groups that have different perspectives and often set their priorities differently. We speak both “languages.”
Consulting & Expert Assessment
We differentiate between the roles of “consultant” and “expert,” but we can do both. As consultants, we support the client through professionally sound input in finding the best solution for their individual problem. As experts, we present neutral solutions independent of the client. When different stakeholders of the client (e.g., fire department and treasurer) have conflicting interests or entrenched positions, we can mediate as moderators.
Experience and Competence Background
Our interdisciplinary team includes diversely academically trained professionals from theory and practice. Our consultants have their own full-time and volunteer operational experience with fire departments and in non-police emergency response. This results in a unique, broadly based, and highly sound competence as the foundation of our work.
We are committed to an incorruptible authority:
our own conscience.
When developing our TARGET concepts, we primarily ask ourselves one question: If we put ourselves in the role of those involved – can we then sleep soundly?
That is, we ask ourselves whether we
as an attack team – in the literal or figurative sense – would "go into the fire,"
as a group leader would assume responsibility for our teams,
as a platoon leader and as a battalion chief would have sufficient resources available,
as fire chief could take responsibility for the concept, and
as mayor/site manager could assume the "political" and financial responsibility.
In short: We must stand behind our concept with a clear conscience – both regarding the service level of emergency response and the resulting costs.
Delivering MORE is our standard.
We have high standards for the quality of our work. To consistently ensure the standard that has become associated with our name, every project goes through various review stages. The volume of projects we have been able to realize to date demonstrates how precisely we meet our clients’ needs.
We always go the entire way with you – and often even take the decisive step further.
And we remain available even after project completion. In general, proximity to the client is very important to us. We are very pleased to have so many long-standing client relationships, which often lead to follow-up projects – and this is the finest confirmation of our quality philosophy.
