Command and civil protection staff of non-police hazard control authorities
Our academy is your partner for the targeted education and training of command, civil protection, and administrative staff. We are familiar with the legal foundations and framework conditions applicable in the respective federal states and adapt our training content individually. Starting with basic training, where practical exercises and intensive training allow staff members to grow into their roles, we offer the entire portfolio up to multi-train staff framework exercises, where several staffs of different dimensions can practice together simultaneously. A highly qualified pool of exercise directors consisting of specialized experts is available to us for preparation and implementation.
In our scenario workshop, we create individual exercise models that are customized to your local structure, risk matrix, and personnel situation within the staff or staffs. The exercise scenarios range thematically from floods/heavy rain to heat/drought, storms/hurricanes, discovery of explosive ordnance, and cyberattacks to hybrid attack scenarios in urban environments. Furthermore, we can create your individual desired scenario with a corresponding level of detail.
A detailed preliminary discussion is followed by the development of your individual exercise scenario and its implementation on-site. The exercise management is located in direct proximity to the staff or staffs and embodies the entire external world during the period of the exercise. Additionally, the staff observers document the working methods, role understanding, communication of the staff members, and much more. Upon request, the staff observers also provide direct coaching and advice within the staff.
Hospital Incident Command (HIC)
There are events that can massively impair hospital operations from one moment to the next. A mass casualty incident (MCI) can lead to the number of cases exceeding the hospital's treatment capacity. A cyberattack can severely disrupt relevant processes in everyday hospital life and, in the worst case, lead to massive restrictions in emergency care.
Hazardous and emergency situations in a hospital require decisions from the very first minute. Establishing a command structure is essential for this. This is often established as a Hospital Incident Command (HIC), which is developed according to the DV 100 command and control model.
Managing such hazardous and emergency situations is only possible with good preparation, a hospital alert and emergency plan, and the commitment of staff who are familiar with this plan and practice the procedures regularly.
Our academy specializes in the education and training of hospital incident command teams. We offer realistic exercises that prepare you optimally for an emergency. Our goal is to provide you with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to manage medical crises professionally.
Our lecturers are experienced experts from the healthcare, emergency medical services, and civil protection sectors. They bring their practical experience directly into our exercise scenarios.
