Training on recruitment and retention of volunteers
Recruiting and retaining volunteers in the long term differs in many respects from a professional context. Accordingly, many methods and mechanisms that work in a professional setting are hardly or not at all applicable when working with volunteers.
In this seminar, a theoretical examination of recruitment and retention in general is used to approach practical tips and tricks specifically for the topic of volunteering. Particular attention is paid to the motives and motivations for voluntary work, the success factor of personnel management, and practical ideas.
Some core questions on this topic are:
- What are the core tasks and core competencies of a leader?
- How do recruitment and retention in volunteering differ from a professional context?
- What are common intrinsic motives for volunteering?
- How can I use conditioning to effectively recruit and retain volunteer personnel in the long term?
- What are the challenges and what are the limits for volunteer leaders?
