Specialist Planner
Your Responsibilities
As a specialist planner for building services engineering with a focus on control center technology and security operations centers, you will support our interdisciplinary team in the planning and implementation of demanding projects in the field of critical infrastructure—from industrial fire departments to industrial and airport control centers to municipal emergency response centers.
- Planning and technical coordination of control centers and security operations centers across all HOAI service phases (LP 1–9)
- Conducting existing condition analyses, feasibility studies, and preparation of technical concepts and specifications
- Development of control, alarm, and redundancy concepts in the context of safety-critical systems
- Conducting workshops, client consulting, and coordination with authorities and involved specialist trades
- Project support from design to execution phase including construction supervision and documentation
Ensuring quality through structured processes, standards, and norms (including DIN EN 50518, DIN EN 50600, ISO 27001 BSI Basic Protection)
Your Profile
- Completed (engineering) degree or state-certified technician in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering, emergency services, or comparable field
– At least 3 years of professional experience in building services engineering planning, ideally with reference to control center technology or safety-related systems
– Good knowledge of HOAI structure and planning processes
– Proficient use of MS Office; knowledge of CAD or Visio an advantage
– Excellent German language skills in written and spoken form
– Strong communication skills, organizational ability, and solution-oriented, structured working approach
– Class B driver’s license required
– Desirable is demonstrated experience in the field of authorities and organizations with security responsibilities from previous professional projects or from own full-time or volunteer work in a fire department or aid organization
